This week in Maths we have continued to explore money.  The children have had the experience of shopping and paying for items in our mock shop, which they loved, and have been planning and costing a party for 30 children.  We have finished researching Ellen MacArthur in English, and everyone has completed a plan for their biography.  We have just started writing them.  In Shared Reading we have looked at some more non-fiction texts, in particular, the Scorpion.  In Topic, we have put to good use all of the recycled rubbish that you sent in.  Thank you!  We have been creating beach scenes and sea creatures.  Look out for the photos!  In addition to all of the above, we also had a sensory morning on Monday, whereby the children had the opportunity to discover the importance of their senses and how to manage without them.
